I always used Winamp, but sadly Winamp is out of the air so there don't come any updates anymore.

Now i use: AIMP3 and i'm very happy with it.

No extra stuff, just the options you use for listening your music.
An the player is really fast and looks good, it has created a smile on my face  Grin

Ofcourse i used many other mediaplayers like: Real One, Windows Mediaplayer, Mediapayer Classic, VLC, MusicBee and sometimes i'm testing Foobar2000.

But personally the winner is: AIMP3 atleast for now  Wink

Want to give it a try: http://www.aimp.ru/index.php?do=news&id=27

Do you have other experiences with mediaplayers and do you have tips or advices, please give a reply!

Thanks for mentioning the players with all build in codecs, really handy. Grin

Sometimes its frustrating that you don't have the right codec.
And sometimes a wrong codec creates problems with your mediaplayer, but thats a different story.

I use VLC to test my harvest of video files, i supports almost every video format.
Like i said im using AIMP3 and im really happy with it.

I hate these so called library's and its useless for me.
My library is my hard disk and its good organized.
I don't need visualizations, in the beginning it was fun to look at when your in higher moods  Roll Eyes
And i watch my movies from my usb, really handy.

I never heard of the most players you called.
Probably its for Linux only....indeed
